Rachel Walker

Rachel has worked in the public sector all of her working life after graduating from Brunel University with a BSc in politics and modern history.

Having worked in the NHS since 2013 Rachel has started working at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as an Operations Director, for family and clinical support services. Prior to this she held various positions with Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation responsible for a number of mental health services and most notably child and adult mental health services across Sussex and Hampshire.

Rachel’s real passion is children in care and children on the edge of care, inspired by her time working for Hampshire County Council Children’s Service’s department. She has a real belief in the value of high quality children’s residential care, having been a registered manager and service manager in this field.
