Matthew Collins

Director of Quality & Governance

Matt joined Fair Ways in 2012 and has progressed through a number of positions including supervising social worker and registered care home manager prior to his appointment as Director of Quality and Governance. Matt holds a BSc in Social Work and attained an MBA with distinction at the University of Southampton.

During his time at Fair Ways, he has helped lead a range of organisation-wide initiatives; creating the Fair Ways’ Employee Committee, the Employee Champion programme, and the Fair Ways Change Team. Matt also enjoys his regular compère role at the Fair Ways Conference and Christmas party events.

Outside of work, he supports the University of Southampton as a Kung Fu instructor, enjoys recording music and has recently taken up Jiu-jitsu and learning Spanish.
