Matty’s Passion for Charities Leads to New Website Project

At Fair Ways, we are constantly amazed by the creativity and passion of the young people in our care, and one inspiring story we want to share is that of Matty, a bright and dedicated young person who has recently created a website dedicated to charities.

Matty, who has a passion for children’s charities, felt there was no single platform where charities could be listed in one place, making it harder for people to discover and support them. Determined to make a difference, Matty took matters into his own hands and began creating a website called Fundraising for Everyone.

Matty didn’t just stop at creating the platform; he was eager to personalise the experience. When presenting his website to Fair Ways team members, he included a section for everyone to share their favourite charities. He asked each staff member to contribute their own, ensuring that the site reflected the diverse causes that resonate with the people around him.

One of Matty’s particular focuses is on children’s charities, and he hopes that his website can help raise awareness and encourage people to get involved in fundraising. Matty is especially excited about getting involved in projects like Comic Relief and is passionate about helping others in any way he can. He’s eager to volunteer locally and give back to the community that has supported him.

“I just want to make it easier for people to find charities and support them,” Matty says. “There are so many amazing causes out there, and I hope this website can grow and help.”

Matty’s initiative is a perfect example of the power of young people to inspire change.
