Fair Ways team members go over and above supporting a service user

Team members from Fair Ways Outreach Service recently went over and above to assist an individual we support. The young man we support is a huge Southampton football fan, and collects football shirts from across the world. Unfortunately, he had nowhere to store or display these, and this is where our team stepped in with an idea…

As a way to support and build a relationship with this individual, our team measured an alcove in his bedroom and worked out a plan to display the shirts.

Our team then worked with his mum to source the materials and took their toolkit with them during their next support session to fit the display.

As a result, the individual we support was able to display his football shirts in a way that he can enjoy them properly and they are less likely to become damaged.
