Fair Ways employees deserve the best and are rewarded with a generous benefits package to fit their needs.
On the face of it, working for a charity may not be a massive benefit, but by being a charity, we proudly reinvest our profits back into the organisation; helping improve the lives of the individuals we support.
Being a charity and caring about making a difference is at the heart of what we do and who we are. It is a huge benefit.
We don’t tolerate negativity or a blame culture. We’re a positive and innovative bunch who look after each other, and we want to keep it that way!
Share our values and principles and you'll be welcomed into Fair Ways with open arms and gain a second family!
We train people well enough so they can leave, but treat them well enough so they don’t want to. We have been there, done it and learned what works.
Not only do we have our own in-house training and development team, but we create and get our own training courses accredited so others can follow our lead.
We all need to relax once in a while and what better way to do that than with team days and events. Our away days range from classroom-based days - to days in Wales, working together as a team in outdoor activities such as canoeing and paddleboarding to work your way through testing challenges.
We understand that our employees are more than numbers on a spreadsheet. We look after each other and value our wellbeing.
We offer a confidential, 24/7, Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) that supports your personal wellbeing because we care about you as a person.
Fair Ways understand that our people deserve to have a life away from work. For that reason, each and every member of staff will receive a minimum of 28 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays).
This will increase to 32 days with an added length of service accrual scheme.
Call it a wellbeing day, a duvet day, or just an extra day off during the year...
This is your time to relax and spend time away from work.
Fancy boosting your annual leave entitlement even more? No worries! Fair Ways offers all staff the chance to purchase up to 5 additional days of leave through a Holiday Purchase Scheme.
This scheme provides employees with the opportunity to take that extra break when they need it most.
We run 3 regular staff lotteries throughout the year - a Monthly Lottery for £100 + £50 gift vouchers; a Holiday Lottery for the chance to win a £1,000 holiday of your choice; and a Voucher Lottery for the chance to win a £350 gift voucher.
All three lotteries are free to enter, with eligible employees automatically added to each draw.
An opportunity to access an electric vehicle (EV) through salary sacrifice.
The scheme is operated in conjuction with Octopus Energy who offer a range of benefits when utilising the EV Scheme.
As a contracted member of staff, you will be eligible for a free health care programme upon completion of your first 12 months of employment.
This cash health care plan will not cost you a penny but will enable you to claim back costs for a wide range of services including dentistry and massages.
First impressions count. That’s why there are a few added extra benefits that go above and beyond from your very first day of onboarding.
